Roadmap to 1.6

The release process will consist of the following steps.
Creation of the SVN 1.6 fixes branch. (Done 30 Nov 2015)

This is the start of the stabilization process before a new Lazarus release.
Release of 1.6 RC 1

This will be the first Release Candidate. We would like to urge all users to test this version. The testing period is scheduled to last 2 weeks.
Release of 1.6 RC 2

The testing period is scheduled to last 2 weeks.
Release of 1.6 RC 3

The testing period is scheduled to last 2 weeks.
Release of Lazarus 1.6

Users can download the new stable version.

按这个节奏，2016年初就可以用上 1.6 正式版了。关键是 Release of 1.6 RC 2 希望全员参与测试哦！

Lazarus 1.6 - 1st Release Candidate

The Lazarus team is glad to announce the first release candidate of Lazarus 1.6.

This release was built with FPC 3.0.0.
The previous release Lazarus 1.4.4 was built with FPC 2.6.4.
